Marley Dance Flooring for Professional Dance Studio Flooring

Rosco Adagio Marley is ideal for both hard and soft shoes. Rosco Adagio marley products offer excellent slip resistance versus other flooring. This floor for dance is popular for ballet, tap, modern, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical dance types. It works for both stage and studio installations.

Marley dance floors are frequently found as flooring in professional dance organizations. It provides slip resistance, cost effectiveness, and a high level of durability. It'll last for many years in a professional dance setting.

Marley dance flooring is a commercial sheet vinyl, most commonly available in black, white, or gray. We offer marley vinyl material either in custom cut roll lengths or in full rolls. Full rolls of marley are sold at discounted prices. Cut lengths are easier to transport and to install.

Marley style flooring is suitable for permanent and semi-permanent installations. It's versatile enough for touring events. Just roll up the portable dance floor and transport it to the performance location.

Most customers install marley in their studios with a tape down installation. Use single-sided vinyl dance floor tape on top of the Rosco flooring to cover the seams.

We will custom cut roll lengths as needed. We ship any dance flooring system nationwide at the most competitive prices. All are suitable for home and professional dance floors and stage floors. We have experience with flooring for all kinds of home studios. Our customers often are seeking marley, dance sprung floors, and dance subfloor underlayments. For residential customers, we also have rubber and high density foam tiles for dance.

Dance Flooring Sprung Floors

Greatmats offers a large selection of sprung floors and subfloor underlayment options for dance. These work for professional dance organizations and for home dance practice spaces.

The best quality floor on the market is the Rosco sprung floor panelized system. It's available in full panels and also as customizable DIY panels.

Professional dancers have tested and designed the sprung Rosco flooring panels. They provide the perfect combination of resilience, spring, and stability. The panels nest together and feature the patented WaveLock technology that eliminates soft spots on the floor.

Greatmats offers a two-part cushioned dance subfloor system called Dance Subfloor Elite. This mid-range-priced dance flooring consists of two layers of material.

The bottom layer is a soft roll of rubber for cushion. The top layer is a snap together modular plastic floor tile that's easy to install. For the final step, marley sheet vinyl is installed over the top.

This system provides a hard top surface for tap dance and ballet, while providing cushion underneath. This dance subfloor option eases the impact and stress on a dancer's body.

Portable Dance Flooring Tiles and Panels

Greatmats manufacturers two unique portable floor tile options for dance. Our 3x3 and 3x4 ft sized dance panels connect via Cam-Lock. They feature aluminum border edging ramps for the perfect finishing touch.

We also offer a commercial grade line of hotel quality dance flooring. This hardwood floor for dance uses Cam-Lock connectors too.

Greatmats has portable tiles for dance floors for events and banquet centers. These are 1x1 ft modular grid loc tiles, designed for repeated installations.

Dance Flooring Underlayments

Dance underlayment dance flooring options consist of either low density rubber rolls or high density foam tiles. These dance subfloors provide separation from a hard floor surface like concrete. They give the dancers a cushioned surface underfoot.

Our dance floor home package features high density foam tiles as an underlayment. It's easy to install, and the lightweight foam has reduced shipping costs versus heavier material.

Cleaning of Marley Dance Floors

Marley is a durable type of flooring. With the right care, it will continue to look great for years.

To clean the marley vinyl dance flooring properly, use Rosco heavy duty floor cleaner. We recommend cleaning marley vinyl flooring at least twice a week.

More frequent cleaning is a smart idea for a studio used for tap dance. Aluminum tap shoes may cause oxidation marks on this floor.

Portable Dance Flooring

The Rosco Dance Adagio Tour product is specifically designed as a durable portable floor suitable for all dance types. This marley roll of floor weighs only 1.6 pounds per square foot, which is great for temporary theatrical installations. It's strong enough to withstand all forms of dance shoes.

The Adagio Tour has a matte, non-reflective surface. A non-glare floor is perfect for theatrical productions with bright stage lighting. It's flexible enough for rolling and re-rolling onto stage floors.

Please note, though, that this flooring is meant only for temporary usage. It's not thick enough for a full day of use as a professional floor for tap dancing practice.

Event and Tent Portable Dance Flooring

Greatmats recommends snap together dance tiles to create flooring for dance events. These modular tiles are portable and easy to assemble. They resemble a beautiful hardwood floor.

Our portable dance flooring tiles can handle any type of dance. Banquet halls, hotels, DJs, and rental companies can make regular use of this floor. It easily snaps together for installation and pops apart for disassembly.

The tab and loop connecting system links the pieces of flooring together tightly. The tiles will not pull apart during a dance event where they're placed under stress. During disassembly, the loop and tab connection system will not degrade.

Our flooring tiles for dance can be used repeatedly for years. They're perfect for semi permanently installed flooring. These dance tiles are made of a commercial grade polypropylene plastic with a vinyl top. We offer several wood grain designs.

Ballet Floor Dance Studio Floor

Greatmats also offers a number of floors suitable for soft shoe dance types. Our reversible marley vinyl material is extremely versatile. We offer it in black and white or black and gray color combinations.

This floor easily rolls up when the dance performance is finished. It's a smart choice for those who need portability or temporary stage floors. Always store marley dance flooring tightly rolled up on its core and standing on end.

Ballet and modern dance customers often select our reversible marley as their primary flooring. The soft and flexible feel of the floor is ideal for soft shoe or no shoe dance types.

Tap Dance Flooring Options

For tap dancing and hard shoe dancing, we recommend our black floor Adagio marley product. Aluminum taps on tap shoes will leave black oxidation marks on vinyl material. Our black floor hides the markings better than gray.

Tap studios like our modular snap together tiles with a vinyl surface too. This product is perfect for a temporary or portable tap floor for dance. The modular design of the floor allows for a customized floor size.

The tiles snap together over any hard surface. When the performance is over, the tiles pop apart. Additionally, the modular design of the tile includes a raised plastic base. This delivers excellent sound enhancement that's ideal for tap dancing.
