Vinyl Peel and Stick Tile With Dark Oak Finish
When a residential or commercial customer wants to install a rich and warm type of flooring without the expense and maintenance hassles of real hardwood planks, our Dark Oak Vinyl Peel and Stick Tile will provide an excellent alternative.
This is one of the best options for creating a floor that looks similar to an oak wood floor product without the cost and installation challenges. Almost anyone can install these peel and stick tile squares without the need for hiring a professional.
With a cost of less than $2 per square foot, these self-stick vinyl squares are budget friendly. And they’ll easily last for years.
Rich Look of Faux Wood Tiles
These vinyl squares are a popular choice for homes and businesses alike because of the way they resemble a real hardwood floor.
Printed on the top vinyl layer is a wood grain finish that resembles actual oak hardwood with a dark colored stain applied to it. At first glance, the majority of visitors to the space will believe they’re looking at an actual hardwood floor.
These 12-by-12-inch tiles contain a parquet pattern across the top surface of the vinyl. The printed pattern consists of horizontal and vertically aligned planks that create a high-end design. A parquet look is very difficult and expensive to recreate in a real hardwood layout.
During installation, to maintain the parquet layout, installers will want to make sure each vinyl square has the correct alignment before adhering it to the subfloor.
To contribute to the realism of this parquet vinyl tile, the printed color pattern on the vinyl layer varies, featuring darker and lighter browns. This is a natural variable in a real hardwood floor.
Benefits of Peel and Stick Tile Layouts
Installers do not have to perform much preparation work on the subflooring before laying out these tiles. Outside of a general sweeping and cleaning to remove debris that could prevent full contact for the back of the tile onto the subfloor, very little prep work needs to happen.
Installation goes quickly when using these tiles. A single square weighs only about 1.5 pounds, so it’s easy to move these pieces around for the desired layout.
When choosing the location of the installation, customers only need to find a firm surface that’s free of loose nails. These tiles will stick to almost any type of subfloor, including concrete, plywood, and other hard laminate tiles or rolls.
The manufacturer pre-applies the adhesive to the back of these tiles during the manufacturing process. A removable sheet of paper protects the adhesive until the installer is ready to use it. There’s no need to add extra glue or adhesive before laying down these tiles, which cuts down on mess.
How to Install Self-Stick Tiles
Before starting the installation, some people will choose to dry lay the tiles. This gives the installer the ability to visualize the layout and to figure out areas where cutting the tiles to fit against walls or around support posts is necessary.
Start the layout in a corner of the room. Peel the protective back layer from the tile to expose the adhesive.
Only allow the adhesive to make contact with the subfloor after aligning the square in the proper position. Once the square adheres to the subfloor, it is extremely difficult to pull it loose to move it.
Expect the installation of the first few tiles to go slowly. However, once the installer gains a feel for how the process works and for aligning the straight edges of tiles, things will go faster.
Should the installer need to cut a tile to fit tight against a wall or other obstacle, it’s easy to cut through the 3 mm thick tile with a carpet knife or a pair of scissors. Only cut the tiles with the protective back layer still in place and protecting the adhesive.

Maintenance and Care
Cleaning and maintaining these vinyl self-stick squares requires a very low level of maintenance. For general cleaning needs, home owners can run a broom or dust mop over the surface whenever needed.
For a more thorough cleaning, use a damp mop over the top of the peel and stick tile. Apply any common household cleaner for floors with the mop. This luxury vinyl tile is able to withstand moisture and water, so it will easily stand up to the mopping process.
Unlike some cheaply made vinyl laminate products, our vinyl peel and stick tile will not absorb water or pull apart when exposed to water.
Feel free to safely install these vinyl squares in potentially damp environments, such as a bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, or busy entryway. They will continue to look like new for several years.
Our dark oak wood grain tile carries a 5-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.
