Peel and Stick Vinyl Flooring With Light Oak Wood Finish
For those who want the look of a rich hardwood finish without the expense and challenging maintenance requirements, count on our Light Oak Finish Peel and Stick Vinyl Flooring Squares.
The printed top layer on the vinyl squares contains a wood grain pattern that resembles an actual oak floor with varying shades of browns and tans to yield a realistic appearance.
These vinyl tiles have a pre-applied adhesive on the back side, which allows the installation to go quickly without the need for hiring someone to help.
Benefits of Using Peel and Stick Vinyl Flooring
Installing hardwood flooring is a challenging process. It’s expensive and often requires the help of a professional, resulting in an extremely high cost.
Customers like the idea of being able to install our LVT instead. These squares are very easy to lay out and use, as each tile measures only 12 by 12 inches and weighs only 1.5 pounds.
The tiles themselves are inexpensive, carrying a price of less than $2 per square foot of coverage, making this a highly affordable option versus actual oak floors.
These extremely durable tiles can stand up to regular usage in either a home setting or in a commercial building. They will maintain a like-new look for years, thanks to the commercial-grade vinyl layer and the wear-resistant print.
Versus a cheap laminate material that may expand and separate when exposed to significant moisture, our tiles resist water and moisture. They do not absorb the moisture, giving the owner time to clean up any spills.
When used in an entryway, these tiles will resist showing damage from tracked-in snow and rain. Feel free to install these vinyl squares in other rooms where moisture could be a problem, such as a laundry room, bathroom, or kitchen.
Some people even install them in a bedroom or basement, creating a rich-looking floor.
Realistic Design in Our Light Oak Vinyl Floors
The printed vinyl layer in these faux oak squares has varying shades of colors. This results in a look that someone would expect to see in an actual hardwood floor, such as one consisting of natural oak.
Additionally, the printed realistic wood grain patterns on the top layer of the peel and stick vinyl flooring enhances the feeling that visitors are looking at an actual hardwood floor when they initially see it.
This model of peel and stick vinyl flooring uses a parquet design, which is extremely difficult to create in an actual hardwood floor. With the parquet layout, the printed planks on the vinyl tile will go in horizontal and vertical directions, creating an impressive finish.
Tips for Installing Vinyl Self-Stick Squares
When installing these vinyl squares, installers can go over the top of almost any firm subflooring. This includes concrete, plywood, or existing vinyl and laminate.
Installers rarely have to perform any kind of special prep to the subfloor before laying out these self-adhesive tiles. Most of the time, a simple sweeping with a broom to remove any dry debris is enough to prep the subfloor surface.
However, installers should follow any specific manufacturer instructions for the preparation of the subfloor before beginning the process.
Before laying out the tiles, some people will choose to dry lay them across the floor. This allows a visualization of whether any of the tiles will need cutting to fit against a wall or to go around any support posts or other obstacles in the room.
Don’t remove the backing that protects the adhesive layer before it’s time to place the tile down. The pre-applied adhesive is extremely sticky. Should the installer fail to set the tile in the proper place on the subfloor after exposing the adhesive, it is difficult to readjust it.
Should any of the tiles need cutting to fit, the installer can use a utility knife or a pair of scissors. Leave the backing layer covering the adhesive in place while cutting the tiles to make the process as easy as possible.

Maintenance and Care
Our peel and stick vinyl flooring does not require any special cleaning techniques. For general cleaning every few days, home owners can just sweep the floor with a broom, or they can use a dust mop over the top.
To clean soils that are a little more stubborn, owners can run a damp mop over the vinyl. Safely apply any common floor cleaning solution made for residential use over the top of this vinyl material.
This is a low maintenance type of flooring that’s also highly durable. The wear-resistant surface will help the wood grain and color printed on the vinyl continue to look like new for several years, even under heavy usage. It carries a 5-year limited manufacturer’s warranty.
