Garage Tile Flooring, Coin Floor, Coin Top Flooring
When you're looking for the best interlocking garage floor tile on the market at the best prices, Our Garage Floor Tile Coin design is a smart choice. This garage tile floor provides a tough material that will last a long time in your garage or wherever you install it.
This snap together modular garage flooring option is available in a coin floor surface design that fits together without visible seams and without the need for adhesives. We call these tiles a coin flooring because of the top surface pattern design. The small circles on the floor's surface resemble coins, while providing just enough texture on the top surface to ensure you won't have to worry about slipping if the floor becomes wet.
Our coin top flooring is primarily designed for indoor installations, as this tile can expand and bucket with direct sunlight exposure. These tiles are not UV treated. (We do offer many other tiling options for outdoor areas that receive full sun.)
Unique Garage Flooring Installation Design
One of the reasons customers love our tile in garage option is because of the ease of installing the tiles. They snap together using a loop and peg design that holds the coin top flooring in place tightly, but that's also easy to disassemble if you ever need to move the tiles to a new location or to return to the original flooring surface.
To snap our garage tile flooring together, you just have to remember to point the two sides with the loops in the direction you want to add more tiles. With our coin tile floor, there are female loops on two sides of the square tile and male pegs on the other two sides. Simply lay the peg side of one tile on top of the loop side of the adjacent tile and gently step with a tapping motion on the top tile to pop the tiles into place.
The ability to step on the flooring tile to complete the installation versus carefully using your hands or a rubber mallet speaks to the convenience of the tab and loop connection system and the tight fitting nature of this tile flooring. Even the first time you install this floor tile requires a very little pressure. After multiple assembly and disassembly sessions, our Garage Floor Tile Coin installation design will still give you top-level performance and durability.
The unique computer designed tab and loop connector system of this coin floor is the best on the market. The installation design holds each tile together securely with no play between the tiles. When installed, the tiles will stay together firmly over time and will not shift or separate.
To prepare the subfloor before installation, we recommend leveling the subfloor as much as possible. The coin top flooring tiles will work over a subfloor with slight imperfections, but major imperfections in the subfloor will potentially cause issues with the installation and performance of the garage tile flooring. This flooring system is works best over hard, flat surfaces such as concrete.
Disassembling the Garage Tiles
The unique design of the tab connector system makes the coin top flooring easy to disassemble for an installation in a new location or to return to the original flooring.
To separate the garage tile flooring, simply lift up one row of tiles that have the tabs over the loops, and with a slight downward motion, and you may find the entire row of tiles will separate. This means you can disassemble the modular floor tile extremely quickly. The ability to install and disassemble the floor in a hurry makes it a great choice for portable and temporary installations for events and trade shows floors, especially car or motorcycle shows.
Easy to Handle Garage Tiles
One person will be able to install these tiles easily, but an additional hand will speed up the process significantly. Each tile measures 12 by 12 inches and covers 1 square foot. There is no interlocking coverage loss because of the hook and peg system.
Each individual coin floor tile weighs only 0.94 pounds, which means you can easily carry and move several of these tiles at one time. Aligning the individual flooring pieces to assemble them is an easy process.
Tough Garage Tile
Our Garage Floor Tile Coin product has been computer tested to handle well over 10,000 pounds per square foot of static weight load. The underside of the coin top flooring has been uniquely designed to support heavy loads without deflection or tile deformation over time. This means you can drive and park your heavy trucks on this floor tile in home garages and industrial locations without worrying about a failure of the tiles.
Our coin top tile flooring is a Made-in-the-USA product featuring a high quality polypropylene plastic material. Each piece measures 5/8 of an inch in thickness. These tiles have a material density rating of Shore A 100, which highlights the rugged nature of the product.
Beyond being able to stand up to huge weights, polypropylene plastic works extremely well as a garage floor tile because it won't absorb liquids and because it's easy to clean with simple household cleaners. It doesn't require any special cleaning process or liquids.
And you can count on us to only carry the highest quality of coin tile floor, meaning each tile's thickness measurement will be within industry tolerances. This eliminates potential buckling of the tile, as you may see with cheaper tiles that have thin spots and poor construction quality.
Easy Garage Flooring Maintenance
We all know garages and workshops can be messy areas in which to work. You can be certain that we've taken potential messes into account with our garage tile flooring design. The polypropylene plastic resists water and liquids, which means it's easy to clean up any spills of solvents, caustic materials, oil or gasoline.
For general cleaning of dry debris, you can run a push broom over the coin floor tiles as needed. For a more thorough cleaning, you can use a mop with a cleaning liquid combination of hot water and common household floor cleaner.
Because of the easy installation and disassembly style of these tiles, should one of them suffer major damage or discoloration, you can easily pop the damaged tile out of the floor and replace it with a new locking coin top tile.
The tiles will not absorb water, but if you will be performing an installation in an area that may become more than just damp frequently, we'd recommend a perforated floor tile for maximum airflow.
Finishing the Garage Flooring Installation
Here are some ideas regarding finishing the installation of the coin floor.
Cutting Tiles: When performing a wall-to-wall installation of the coin top flooring, you may have to cut some tiles to fit. To cut the tiles, you can use a power saw. (Always use safety glasses when using power tools.) Or you can deeply score the tiles with a utility knife and then snap them apart.
Hard Sub-Floor: We only recommend installing the coin top tiles over a hard sub-floor, such as cement or wood.
Including a Border: Because this coin floor has a thickness measurement of 5/8 of an inch, there is a bit of a lip at the edge of the floor, which may cause a tripping hazard if you've created an island installation. We offer ramp border strips and corner pieces with this floor tile that will snap onto the main tiles, creating a seamless and finished edge that looks great and provides additional safety. Just contact us to learn more about the border ramp options.
Forklift Limits: Although our garage tile flooring will support the weight of nearly all vehicles, we do not recommend using this flooring with forklifts.
Garage Floor Ordering Options
You have quite a few options for making use of our coin floor product. You can order our Garage Floor Tile Coin squares in eight different colors as follows.
Some people will choose to install the coin top flooring in a single color. Or you may choose to create islands of one color within a different primary base color of the flooring for an interesting look. This can be a helpful means of creating organization in a garage or basement storage area. For example, one island color could indicate an area for storing bicycles in the garage, helping remind your kids where they need to place their equipment. Different colors can also mark where each vehicle should park eliminating the guesswork in multi-car garages.
Others like the option of creating a checkerboard installation, using two colors in an alternating pattern. One of the great things about our garage tile flooring hook and peg installation design is that all of the tiles will fit together, no matter what color they are. The checkerboard pattern is a great way to show off the colors of your favorite team when installing this coin floor in a garage or basement that you're turning into a man cave.

Perfect Solution for my basement recording studio. I occasionally get some seepage through the walls and didn't want to put down anything with wood or carpet that could get damp and smelly. The tiles went down faster than any flooring I have ever laid. 6 hours to do 300 square feet, including some tricky trimming. BE CAREFUL, if like me, you use a radial arm saw to cut the tiles, the saw arm needs to be moved in the opposite direction that you would use for wood. Damn near clocked myself and jammed the saw before I remembered. The only drawback I can see, is a slight clacking sound when you walk on the tiles. This can be avoided by putting down a thin layer of rolled rubber under the tiles, something I may do in the future if the sound becomes problematic. All in all, money well spent!
When I have the garage door open even at 80 degrees outside the first 5 rows will buckle and come come apart in the Southwest exposure. As long as the tile is in the shade or garage door down, it stays together. I am cutting 1/2 inch off the side by the wall to create an expansion area. Not sure how the floor will be in the winter.

I have received so many compliments on the floors and we love the looks. The floor was easy to put down. The only problem that I have with the floor is, when driving up on the flood there are some places that are easy to come on snap.
They worked out well. They were easy to install and look great. Its too early to comment on durability but so far so good.

Eric was an amazing sales representative. He was so kind and patient with me in answering all of my questions. He was enthused to advise me that my flooring was on sale thats always good to hear. My shipment arrived right on time which included a call ahead to schedule. They brought the two containers 700lbs each right up to the garage door and neatly stacked them on pallets. My installer will arrive in a few days to begin work. Overall this was truly an amazing experience. Everything worked out very well. I would advise anyone to contact these people for your flooring needs.
Please change our last name to Ebersohl, it was misspelled.
Great company to do business with. Outstanding products and a staff of wonderful people to deal with.
Mats came fast. I installed them quickly. Floor looks great
I received the coin tiles fast. I installed them right away. I used a rubber malleIt. It was easy they just lock right into place.. The floor looks perfect.
Better and more than expected. Great quality, great look and ease of installation.
can the border ramps come in YELLOW
Can these be glued down?
Can this be installed on a playhouse plywood subfloor? Do you ship to Canada? Tks.
can these be used on a playground exposed to the element?
I have some cracks in the floor. One side is up about a quarter of an inch higher than the other side. Floor also slips slightly.( felled foundation). Would the tile handle it or would it cause problems with installation?
For protection I need to cover a room that has beautiful hardwood flooring before I move a business into it. Will these tiles in anyway damage the original hardwood, either by rubbing or chemical transfer from the mats?
Can liquids easily leak in between the tiles? If so is there anything you all can recommend placing underneath them to protect the surface underneath? I plan on using these on top of carpet in a rental home to protect it from anything by dog may do (eating, drinking water, etc).
