Male border ramps allow safe movement for vehicles and pedestrians on and off of the mats. Ramps are securely connected to the mats using the same nylon cam lock system as the mats and are compatible with with both Matrax Heavy Duty Drivable Composite Mats and Light Duty Pedestrian Composite Mats. The ramps shield the edges of the mats from damage and are ADA compliant. This makes for easy movement and safe accommodates for wheelchairs, strollers, walkers and people with limited mobility stepping on and off the mats.

Where ramps can be installed on both sides and the end of the mat, corners can be made by cutting ramps on the diagonal lines on the underside of the ramps. The corners make a smoother progression from any direction on and off the mat, this also prevents tripping hazards. Male border ramps can be used with female border ramps to create a build joint between mats. Use the build joint for large installations when a combination of heavy duty and light duty mats are being used, build joints are necessary to guarantee joined transitions.

Maintenance

Use warm water at a low pressure with a mild cleaning solution to clean the mats. A scrub brush may be used if necessary.
